Upper Limb Awareness Training – ½ day or 1 day

This course is suitable to supervisors, HR personnel, H+S managers and anyone dealing with Upper Limb Disorders or RSI at work. The course covers the causes of ULD and demonstrates how to identify risk factors that contribute to ULD. The course can be extended to a full day to provide assessment techniques and ways to reduce any risks identified.

The course is designed to provide an understanding of ergonomic principles and how to use ergonomics in the workplace. The practical session involves using ergonomic assessment tools to evaluate the workplace and identify possible improvements. This course is best run on-site to make full use of the practical session.

DAY TWO
- Incorporating ergonomics into management processes
- Workplace design issues -lighting, equipment
- Measuring risk factors in the workplace
- Practical Ergonomic assessment.
- Using the results of the assessment
- Reviewing the ergonomic impact of changes
Requirements
We would like you to provide a Training Room on-site, with:
- Appropriate seating for the delegates.
- A writing board or similar.
- Access to take photos and videos on-site for use within the training package
- Access to carry out practical assessments within your organisation

A 50% deposit on booking is required
A maximum of 8-10 people per training session
